The upcoming weeks and months will be challenge for instructors who must abruptly transition to work remotely and implement distance learning. With educators and students alike stuck at home in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, CDX understands that you may have concerns about keeping students engaged and administering meaningful assignments. We want to reassure you that we are here to help.
First, we’re in the process of developing additional assignments that can be used specifically for distance learning to help keep engagement high and productive. Our goal is to help you become more effective and feel more at ease outside of the classroom. Our distance-learning resources will start to be released this week, and you will be able to access these documents and their instructions of use as they become available through the CDX Blog.
Second, please know that CDX is successfully used for distance learning across the globe. The first step in delivering effective distance learning is to become familiar with how to use each of the resources within CDX. Our training library has helpful tutorial videos and documentation that will guide you in this transition.
We know it’s your priority to keep your students on track this semester despite these unplanned setbacks, and we want to assist you with this in every way we can. Keep a look out for further updates, materials to assist you and your students remotely, and tips and tricks on mastering distance learning during these challenging times.
